'Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate,' the Gujarati film directed by Ankit Sakhiya, is now ready to meet Hindi audiences.The makers have released the Hindi trailer on social media, and the response has been very strong. The film has already created history in Gujarati cinema by crossing the Rs 100 crore mark.

Now with the Hindi release coming up, the team feels hopeful and excited. Actor Shruhad Goswami, who plays Lord Krishna in the film, spoke to ETimes about this new phase and shared his feelings about the love coming from all sides.

Talking about the Hindi trailer, Shruhad Goswami shared with us how emotional the moment feels for him. He said, “The response that the Hindi trailer of the movie has received is deeply moving and overwhelming. When we made the film, we had a strong belief that it would connect to the audiences everywhere and would help take Gujarati stories to people across India, just like movies from other regional industries have done in the past.He also added, “With 'Laalo,' we saw this happening, and it makes us feel incredibly special. As an actor, it is so satisfying to see the love the film is receiving and to be able to share our culture and stories with a much wider audience through Laalo's Hindi release.”

Dubbing the film felt like a new life

Shruhad also spoke about his experience of dubbing the film in Hindi. He said the process felt very personal and emotional. “Talking about the experience of dubbing this film, it felt like the film got a new heartbeat,” he shared.He continued, “While we were dubbing the film in the studio, I reconnected with the emotions of the story and experienced my character in a new way. Each dubbing session reminded me why this story needs to be told and the power of honest storytelling.” He ended by saying that the whole team hopes the Hindi version gets the same love.

Director Ankit Sakhiya on the film’s soul

Director Ankit Sakhiya also shared his thoughts about the journey of Laalo. He told us, “Laalo is a product of dedication and honesty. I believe something truly divine transpired during the entire process of making the film, and that is why it's so fulfilling to see the enormous love and appreciation the film has received.”He added, “From senior citizens to children, every single person has thoroughly enjoyed the film, and that is what gives Laalo the universal appeal.” The film stars Reeva Rachh, Shruhad Goswami, Karan Joshi, Mishty Kadecha, and Anshu Joshi, and it is set for a nationwide Hindi release on January 9, 2026.
