Born in Oklahoma and raised in Missouri, the star was fairly unaware of how to get into the entertainment world from the get-go. He moved all the way to Los Angeles, and took acting classes to refine his skills. On top of that, in order to pay his bills, he even had to work some odd jobs before he could land his breakthrough role in cinema.
He further shared that he used to be a chauffeur for escorts and would often drive them to parties and help out with other things such as transporting and collecting items. He stated “It was an odd job. There’s a place called the Job Factory where people listed odd jobs they needed for a little while and you’d go and sign up. It said, ‘Drive s********.’ I said, ‘I got a car.’ My job was to go to the place and get the assignment, then go to the girl’s apartment, pick her up, and drive her to the party.”
He shared that while on his last night as the driver, he struck up a conversation with the girl that he was taking to the party. She talked about her life, and later revealed that she was dating someone famous at the time. After asking a couple of times, she shared that his name was Roy London. This is how he ended up landing his first-ever acting coach.
