NEET Result 2022 LIVE Updates: National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NEET UG Result 2022 at neet.nta.nic.in on September 7. Toppers - Tanishka, Vatsa Ashish Batra, Hrishikesh Nagbhushan and Rucha Pawashe scored 715 marks out of 720. Rajasthan's Tanishka ranked number 1. The NEET exam was conducted on July 17, 2022 and as many as 18.72 lakh candidates registered for the medical entrance exam. Candidates can check their NEET result using login details on the official website. NEET Result: 1,07,772 candidates missed exam
A total of 1872343 candidates registered for the NEET exam of which 1764571 appeared for the exam. As many as 107772 aspirants missed the medical entrance examination. Among the total, 1870015 students were Indian nationals while 910 were NRIs, 647 were OCIs, and 771 were foreigners.

AIR 6 Rishi Balse from Mumbai's Tardeo obtained 710 out of 720, but unlike many of them, Balse took a road less travelled in times when competitive exams preparation is considered directly proportional to the coaching centre you are taking admission to. He joined private tuitions as he didn't want to feel boxe.

As many as 9,93,069 candidates qualified in the NEET UG 2022 out of 17,64,571 medical aspirants appeared recording a pass percentage of 56.27%.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the tentative schedule for NEET PG counselling 2022. The counselling process is expected to begin from September 15. The NEET PG counselling was postponed two days before the scheduled date of September 1.

NEET UG 2022: Qualified candidates will now have to complete formalities with counselling authorities
The candidates who have qualified in the NEET UG exam 2022 need to further complete the formalities with the respective counselling authorities i.e., DGHS, Medical Education Directorates of States, etc. for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses.

NEET Counselling 2022: DGHS to conduct counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats
The NEET counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats, Central Universities, Deemed Universities, Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU will be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India. Medical aspirants will apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per the DGHS directions and counselling will be stopped after the seats are full.

NEET UG 2022: Only candidates who obtained qualifying cut-off marks will be eligible for further admission process
Along with the NEET results, the National Testing Agency has also released the NEET UG 2022 qualifying cut-off on the scorecards. Aspirants who have got the qualifying cut-off marks only they will be considered for the further process of admission.

A 20-year-old girl in Noida allegedly died by jumping off a society building in the early hours of Thursday after she failed to clear the NEET UG 2022 exam. Earlier in the day, another similar case was reported from Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur district.

NEET UG Result 2022: More girls pass NEET
In the NEET UG 2022 more girls have qualified the exam. Notably, the number of girls registering for the medical entrance exam was also higher than boys. A total of 429160 males and 563902 females have managed to pass NEET.

NTA NEET Result 2022: Ranking Rule
Nine medical aspirants scored 710 out of 720 and were ranked from all-India 6th to 14th. "Candidates who scored identical marks are accorded ranks as per the tie-breaker rule where the candidate with higher marks in biology is ranked above the rest. In the case of identical marks in biology, the same rule is applied for chemistry followed by physics. Even after this, if the scores remain identical, the elder candidate gets the higher rank," a NTA official said.
