Retired Vice Admiral Robert Harward appeared on America’s Newsroom program to discuss world news with FOX News hosts Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino.
Harvard’s view of world news was reportedly given no weight. And the whole focus went on his neck, just below the Adam’s apple.
A similar incident occurred in the
NFL just days after this one. NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky reportedly made fans think he forgot to wear pants during a broadcast.
Appearance more crucial than news: Dan Orlovsky’s nude pants cause shockwaves after Robert Harward mask interview
No matter how hard we try not to judge a book by its cover, we end up being the harshest judge of it.
That’s what happened with both Robert Harward and Dan Orlovsky. Both of them were trying their level best to share news on the world and football respectively. But the viewers?
They seemed more interested in their appearances than their opinions. Robert Harward was reportedly recorded wearing a mask.
A mask that would cover his whole face up to the lower part of his neck, just below the Adam’s apple.
Now, the striking feature here is that he could have hidden the mask under his undershirt, but instead, it was just centimeters or an inch above it.
And this led everyone to believe that he was probably wearing a mask.
One user speculated, "Skin is too tight, ears are wrong, eyebrow shape is deformed, eyes are sunken...
Definitely a mask and a poorly constructed one at that."
Another said, "The X headline to the mask wearing “Admiral” topic says it’s a “baseless” (conspiracy theory). That is a mask!!!"
A post read, "This one is very clear to me even compared to other examples. As he talks you can see it moving away from his skin. There is even bulging of the mask from his shirt collar. Very obviously a mask."
Anyhow, the air was cleared by the network.
“Vice Admiral Robert Harward appeared on FOX News Channel earlier this week via a remote, mobile camera operated by an outside vendor,” said the network in a statement.
“During the interview, lighting conditions in the van contrasted with the vice admiral’s jacket, which caused a shadow to appear on his neck.”
According to Mediaite’s David Gilmour, no such shadow was visible on the retired Navy Officer Robert Harward’s neck during the segment.
If there was a mask in question, it could have been worn to cover wrinkles, spots, or dry skin. We are all open to speculation.
Anyhow, coming back to our NFL analyst and former quarterback, Dan Orlovsky, who also fell for reportedly failed appearances.
Dan Orlovsky wore the worst pants color ever on TV
Dan Orlovsky was wearing nude pants during a broadcast. The nude pants matched the color complexion of his skin.
Thereby making viewers feel like he didn’t wear any pants during a broadcast.
An X account called “kira” shared a photo of Dan Orlovsky seated next to his co-hosts Chris Fowler and Louis Riddick. He was calling a game on Monday Night Football back in October 2023!
Yes, that video is so old. But since it’s the offseason, old news is probably re-entering cyberspace just to keep users in love with football. Also, for those who may not anything about it.
Anyhow, “kira” captioned it: “bro wore the worst pants color ever on TV.”
The post has garnered over 3 million views, 700+ comments, 3000+ reposts, 92000+ hearts, and 2900+ bookmarks.
One user wrote, “I thought bro wasn’t wearing anything from waist down for a second.”
Another said, "Bro trusted the mirror and lost." A third chimed in, "Those pants look censored somehow." A post read, "He's probably regretting for the rest of his life."
Another said, “He’s not loved properly at home. How can your wife allow you to leave home like this,” and shared a photo of the 2000 sci-fi horror movie Hollow Man’s Sebastian Caine.
Sebastian Caine was invisible and wore a skin-colored mask. The character is played by
Kevin Bacon.
Well, this mask takes us to the FOX News alleged mask blunder. And we’re back to square one...
