CUET PG 2022 Result (Declared) LIVE Updates: NTA CUET PG scorecard available at cuet.nta.nic.in, 6 students score 100%

Around 3.6 lakh candidates registered for Common University Entrance Test, CUET PG 2022 exam and out of these, around 55% appeared for it.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) had announced the CUET for admission to postgraduate programs in 42 central universities across India. However, the universities are not bound to adopt the CUET-PG for postgraduate programmes. Delhi University and Jamia Millia Islamia have not adopted the CUET-PG this year.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into UG/ PG programmes in Central and participating Universities for academic session 2022-23. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from North-East and from rural and other remote areas and help to establish better connect with the Universities. A single Examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities

A total of 3.6 lakh candidates applied for CUET-PG, with over 1.8 lakh men and 1.7 lakh women. Over 55 per cent of them appeared for the exam.

The UGC has clarified that admissions in undergraduate courses will be given on the basis of normal percentage, not percentile.

According to Delhi University, the eligibility criteria of all programmes and the admission policy of DU are mentioned in the 'UG Bulletin of Information 2022' and 'CSAS 2022'. Both documents are published on the website of university. It is worthy to mention that the merit list of various subjects will be prepared by the participating universities, which will be based on the CUET-UG scorecard. The results of CUET-UG have already been declared and now, the participating universities and colleges are preparing merit lists.

Delhi University (DU) has initiated a 'Common Seat Allocation System' (CSAS) through an online portal for undergraduate admissions. The registration under the first phase of CSAS started on September 12. The second phase will start on September 26 and will end on October 10. DU is likely to declare its first merit list on September 26 while the last merit list would be out by October 10.

UGC Chairman Professor M. Jagadesh Kumar said that the Commission had sought the details for admission to UG programmes on the basis of CUET-2022 in 45 Central universities across the country. Under this, varsities have been asked about the preparations they have made for admission on the basis of CUET scorecards. The UGC has sought details regarding the merit list, the status of the admission portal, when students can apply for admission, and the last date to apply for admission.

The NTA has recently declared the results of CUET for Under Graduate programmes where candidates who appeared in any of the six phases of the entrance test downloaded their scorecards at the official CUET UG website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
