NEET UG 2026 paper leak: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that there is no paper leak in NEET UG 2026 and the examination will proceed as scheduled on May 3, 2026. The agency addressed widespread rumours circulating on social media platforms and messaging channels, stating that all question papers have been securely delivered under strict protocols.In an official communication shared on X, the NTA reassured candidates that confidential materials have reached their destinations with the highest level of security. It emphasised that there is no possibility of early access to the question paper and warned aspirants against believing unverified claims.
Rumours about paper leak surface onlineSeveral posts circulating online have claimed that the NEET UG 2026 question paper was leaked before the examination. It stated that such messages are part of attempts to create panic and mislead candidates. The agency has also confirmed that it is taking action against those responsible for spreading misinformation.
Security measures in place for exam integrityAccording to the NTA, multiple layers of security have been implemented to ensure the integrity of the examination process. These include secure transportation of question papers and strict monitoring at all examination centres nationwide.The agency reiterated that these measures eliminate any possibility of a paper leak. Candidates have been advised to rely only on official updates and not engage with unauthorised sources claiming access to exam materials.Guidelines on fake news and reporting mechanismsThe NTA has urged students to remain cautious of fraudulent messages. Any demand for money or personal information in exchange for question papers has been identified as a clear warning sign of a scam.Candidates who encounter such claims are advised to report them to CyberCrime authorities or directly to the NTA for prompt action. The agency highlighted its proactive approach in tracking and addressing such incidents.Biometric verification and exam day arrangementsBiometric verification will remain mandatory for entry into examination halls. However, provisions have been made for candidates facing technical or physical issues during authentication. Such candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam after submitting a written undertaking.The examination will be conducted across multiple centres, including Gurugram, with arrangements in place to ensure smooth operations. Meanwhile, a candidate, Sudha Shenoy, raised concerns regarding invigilator training and requested that procedural formalities be completed outside the examination duration to avoid disruptions.The NTA has advised students to stay focused on their preparation and avoid unnecessary panic caused by unverified information.
