Guntur: The stage is set for the three-day World Telugu Conference, which will begin at Sri Sathya Sai Spiritual City grounds on the outskirts of Guntur from Saturday. Several dignitaries, including the President of Mauritius, and several Supreme Court and high court judges are scheduled to attend the biennial gathering. Chief minister
N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to grace the final day's session on Monday.
Andhra Saraswatha Parishat president Ghazal Srinivas said six state governors will attend the event, which will attract thousands of Telugu enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate Telugu language, culture, and heritage. The previous editions of the event were held in Bhimavaram and Rajamahendravaram.
Meanwhile, organisers introduced a modern accommodation solution by installing advanced capsule houses to house VIPs and delegates. The portable, container-based structures offer hotel-like amenities, including airconditioning. "The modular units are easy to transport and assemble, providing a sustainable and flexible option for large-scale events," said chief coordinator P Ramachandra Raju.
