Lokesh prays at Kanaka Durga temple

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh IT and education minister Nara Lokesh visited Kanaka Durga Temple atop Indrakeeladri on Saturday and offered prayers to goddess Kanaka Durga. Lokesh was received by Endowments commissioner Ramachandra Mohan and temple executive officer Seena Naik, who made special arrangements for the darshan. Durga temple trust board chairman Borra Radhakrishna and other board members were also present.
After the darshan, Vedic scholars offered blessings to the minister, while temple authorities presented him with prasadam and sacred temple cloth.
Later, Lokesh attended a private wedding ceremony held at the Mahamandapam within the temple premises, where he blessed the newlywed couple and conveyed his wishes.
