VIJAYAWADA
: Agriculture and cooperation minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu said the state govt is committed to ensuring timely promotions and transparent postings for employees in the cooperative department.
Speaking in Vijayawada on Saturday, the minister said the govt is taking steps to protect employee interests and provide a positive working environment without scope for corruption or irregularities in transfers and promotions. He added that the latest promotion process in the department was conducted with “100% transparency.”
The remarks came after the govt issued promotion orders to nearly 100 employees across various cadres in the cooperative department.
Following the announcement, members of the AP Cooperative Services Association, led by state president TV Phani Perraju, met the minister and felicitated him for expediting the promotions and issuing transparent posting orders. Employees who received promotions celebrated the occasion with the minister, who cut a cake and distributed sweets.
Association leaders said over 350 promotions had been granted in the department during the last two years.
