SGCCI to host art festival and health conclave

Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SGCCI) will organise events beyond its core business initiatives to promote art, culture, health, and technology. The upcoming events include Sanskruti – Art Festival and a Health Conclave.The art festival will be held on Sept 12 and 13 at SIECC Campus, Sarsana, and will feature exhibitions of paintings, handicrafts, and creative photography. Gujarati film actress Sapna Vyas will be the chief guest, while theatre personality Yazdi Karanjia will attend as a special guest. On Sept 12, the festival will begin with a short-film making workshop conducted by Dhruvin Jain, followed by traditional and contemporary garba competitions. On the second day, a music talent competition will be held, and a musical evening will be performed by Vishva – The Band, along with live performances by artists including Kuldeep Vishwakarma, Nishant Patel, Mohit Bhaga, Dev Sharma, and Krutag Jariwala.The Health Conclave will take place on Sept 14 at the same venue. The event will host experts from across the state who will deliver lectures on various health topics, and a panel discussion will also be conducted. Dr Anil Naik, national president-elect of the Indian Medical Association, and Dr Mehul Shah, Gujarat state president of IMA, will be present at the conclave.
