Case against 7 officials of school trust

Pune: Khadak police have registered a case of trespass and theft against seven people — all distant relatives of a family — for entering a shcool premises at Kasewadi in Bhawani Peth and stealing computers and other articles worth Rs12 lakh in total.The complainant (31) lodged a complaint last week with the Khadak police station, claiming that the seven not only stole the valuables from the school premises but also pushed an elderly trustee of the school who later died due to cardiac arrest. "However, we are yet to verify the claim," said senior inspector Shashikant Chavan of Khadak police.The two schools are located adjacent to each other. One is managed by a family (the complainant) while the other is managed by the other trustees. The school trustees, who have been accused of trespass and theft, on Friday said, "Police must thoroughly investigate the case."
