Patna: The BJP on Thursday hit back at RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav over his remarks on TRE-4, with party spokesperson Prem Ranjan Patel launching a sharp attack.
Patel said, “The ‘Prince of corruption and kingpin of the land-for-jobs scam’ shows his desperation while trying to mislead the people of Bihar and its self-respecting youth.”
He said the recruitment drives for TRE-1 and TRE-2, which the opposition is attempting to take credit for, were fully part of the NDA govt’s vision, including the action plan, financial approvals and policy framework.
Patel alleged that those who “for 15 years pushed Bihar into an era of kidnapping industry” and later “orchestrated the land-for-jobs scam” are now pretending to be concerned about youth welfare.
“The NDA govt remains fully committed to employment, transparency and the bright future of Bihar’s youth rather than resorting to populist gimmicks. It is working through a systematic, policy-driven and transparent approach,” he said.
He added that the youth of Bihar know who pushed them back into the “lantern era” and who is working towards a “digital and developed Bihar” with employment opportunities. “The NDA govt will fulfil every promise it has made to the youth of Bihar,” he said.
