Chandrapur: Two young men were killed and two others suffered serious injuries following a collision between a motorcycle and a goods pickup vehicle on Chandrapur-Nagpur highway near Nanduri Takli village in Warora tehsil on Sunday night. The motorcycle riders, identified as Mayur Hadke and Chandu Walde, both residents of Khamgaon, died on the spot after the high-impact crash that occurred around 8pm.Pickup driver, Akshay There, and co-passenger Raghunath Dakhore of Ambhora also sustained injuries and were rushed to Warora sub-district hospital, where they remain under treatment. The accident triggered massive traffic congestion on the busy highway, with vehicle queues stretching for kilometres and leaving commuters stranded for hours.Locals blamed ongoing road repair work, poor diversion planning, and inadequate barricading for increasing accident risks along the route.Police conducted panchnama, and sent the bodies for postmortem examination.
