Actor Arman Kohli released on bail

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Arman Kohli,arrested for allegedly knocking down a motor-cyclist here on Monday night, wasreleased on bail late last night, police said on Wednesday."Kohli wasreleased on a bail of a sum of Rs 35,000", the police officials at D N Nagarpolice station, investigating the case, said here."We have recordedKohli''s statement and are awaiting the laboratory report of the actor''s bloodsample to ascertain whether he was under the influence of alcohol when theincident took place," they said.Film maker and father of Arman, RajkumarKohli, film actor Aditya Pancholi and friends of the actor visited the policestation after hearing the news of Arman''s arrest on Tuesday.Arman''svehicle, allegedly driven by him, knocked down Bijoy Kadvil, fracturing thevictim''s right ankle, police said.Kadvil, who runs a restaurant in Panvel,is recuperating at a private hospital, they added.
