"Tourists visiting the district often take to the sea on tourist boats to enjoy the scenery. Therefore, all tourist boats must obtain permission from the port, police, coast guard, local authorities, and the tourism dept before venturing into the sea. Boats without permission will not be allowed to operate, and those with permission must renew their licences annually," the DC said.
For the safety of tourists, wearing life jackets on boats should be taken seriously. Every tourist must wear a life jacket before entering the sea. Information about using life jackets should be displayed on brochures at popular tourist spots.
