Who voice back karne ke liye mujhe 2-3 mahina saab chor dena parega, but people hated that voice (I have actually broken my voice. My voice wasn’t like this earlier—it was completely different. To get that old voice back, I would have to stop everything for two to three months, but people hated that voice)." The singer further shared, "Maine jab uss voice mai ganna shuru kia tha, people didn’t like that voice at all. So, I had to change my voice, to kind of cut through. Gale ko tod tod ke textures banaya hai maine. It’s almost like sculpting your voice (When I started singing in that voice, people didn’t like it at all. So I had to change my voice to kind of cut through. I kept straining my throat to create textures. It’s almost like sculpting your voice)." The singer concluded, saying, "Bohot torture kia ha apne aap ko ek tarike se taaki voice ka projection alag ho jaye, bascally voice ka muscle banne jaisa (In a way, I’ve really tortured myself so that the voice projection changes—basically, like building muscle for the voice)."Arijit Singh took to his social media accounts to share that he will not continue working as a playback vocalist anymore.
