Newlywed couple found hanging

Kanpur: A newlywed couple was found hanging in their room on Tuesday in Biriya Khurd village under the Jalaun Kotwali area, police said.According to police, the couple had been married only a short time ago.Preliminary investigation suggested it appeared to be a case of suicide, but the actual reasons behind the incident had not yet been revealed. Police were also investigating family discord, mental pressure, or any other reason behind the incident.The area officer, and inspected in charge arrived at the scene, and sent the bodies for post-mortem. A field unit team was also called for evidence collection.Circle officer, Jalaun, Shailendra Bajpai said further action will be undertaken based on the autopsy report.
