Kanpur: Chief Judicial Magistrate Suraj Mishra's court summoned one Ravindranath Soni, accused in a mega fraud case, on Saturday. The case was registered at Kotwali, where Ravindranath was arrested under sections of fraud and conspiracy and sent to jail. Case investigating officer Jagdish Prasad Pandey submitted an application in the CJM court stating that during the investigation of Ravindranath's case, IPC Section 409 related to criminal breach of trust by a banker, merchant or agent was added against him.
A demand was made to take Ravindranath into judicial custody under this section as well. "Following this, the court summoned him," said Pandey TNN
