BRS leader KT Rama Rao demands high-level probe into NEET question paper leak, seeks apology from Centre
The NEET paper leaked once again due to the NDA govt’s failure to conduct examinations securely, the BRS leader alleged
Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao demanded that the Centre order a high-level probe into the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) question paper leak and tender an apology to students and their parents for failing to conduct the examination properly. In a statement, the BRS leader said it was a disgrace for the Central govt that the NEET question paper leak had led to the cancellation of the examination. He said the Centre had played with the lives of 23 lakh students who had studied day and night for the entrance test across the country.“The NEET paper leaked once again due to the NDA govt’s failure to conduct examinations securely. The Centre failed to learn any lessons from a similar paper leak in 2024. This ongoing incompetence in conducting the test has become a curse for students,” KTR said.He said that over a hundred questions being leaked a day before the examination exposed severe flaws in the system. The Centre had caused severe mental distress to the students and their parents.Regardless of the influence of powerful individuals behind the incident, all those involved should be caught and punished severely, and the facts should be presented to the public, KTR demanded. He said the NEET examination should be reconducted in the most secure manner possible to protect the future of students.
