Be on your toes during SIR, KTR tells party leaders
KT Rama Rao
Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao asked the party leaders and workers to remain vigilant as the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) would be starting soon in the state. He said there are allegations on BJP govt of removing supporters of opposition parties from the voters list and misusing its power. KTR also alleged that the Congress party won in Jubilee Hills assembly bypolls with bogus and duplicate voters.Speaking during the Sanathnagar assembly constituency’s booth level workers meeting on Saturday, the BRS leader urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to conduct the SIR transparently without giving any scope for irregularities. On the process of SIR, KTR advised BRS workers to be cautious to prevent BJP’s mischief and chaos in Telangana. He suggested that the BLAs selected by the party should protect every vote from being removed by the ruling BJP and Congress. He stated the need for complete awareness of the SIR process and mentioned that if necessary, the party would organise another training session for BLAs.
