Dimapur: Altogether 402 cases were taken up, out of which 220 cases were disposed of during the second quarter National Lok Adalat held across Nagaland

An official statement on Monday said 11 benches were set up in the district headquarters of the district legal services authorities under the aegis of the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority. The success rate of the disposal in the National Lok Adalat in Nagaland stands at around 54%. The cases taken up were at the pre-litigation stage, including bank recovery, loan recovery, and telephone bill cases. Those at the pending stage were criminal compoundable offences, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal and other civil cases, the release stated.
