Intern accuses company CEO of sexual, mental harassment; FIR filed
NEW DELHI: Delhi Police on Friday registered an FIR against the CEO of a company following a complaint filed by an employee alleging sexual harassment and related misconduct during her internship period.According to news agency ANI, the complainant has accused the CEO of sexual harassment, inappropriate behaviour, intimidation, mental harassment, and abuse of authority during her internship period with the company.Police officials said that the matter is under investigation and all allegations are being verified.“An FIR has been registered based on the complaint received. We are verifying all facts and further investigation is underway,” Delhi Police said.(The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme court directives on cases related to sexual assault)(With agency inputs)
