New Delhi: Delhi Police’s Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations unit has registered an FIR following a complaint from the Central Board of Secondary Education (
CBSE) over a series of coordinated cyberattacks targeting its Post-Result Services Portal.
The case has been registered under sections of the Information Technology Act, and an investigation was initiated, police said.
CBSE said the portal, launched on June 2 for Class XII students seeking services such as verification and re-evaluation of answer scripts, came under repeated cyberattacks over the past three days. The attacks allegedly involved large volumes of malicious traffic originating from multiple IP addresses both within India and abroad.
