New Delhi:
Delhi Police crime branch has issued notices to three senior
DDCA officials in connection with the alleged black-marketing of complimentary
IPL match passes and tickets.
Officials have been asked to join the investigation and explain the process of distribution of complimentary passes, including how several passes recovered from arrested accused reached them. Police suspect a larger racket involving illegal sale of passes at hefty prices.
Investigators are also probing the role of an electrical vendor allegedly issued accreditation passes for every match. So far, four accused have been arrested, and further interrogation of DDCA-linked persons is likely.
