Delhi govt to start Unani, Homeopathy OPDs
New Delhi: Delhi govt will soon launch homoeopathy and Unani outpatient clinics at the Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan (CBPACS) as part of its efforts to strengthen integrated AYUSH-based healthcare and stress management services in the capital. The initiative, announced on Thursday, will be implemented through the Directorate of AYUSH, Govt of NCT of Delhi, and aims to provide holistic and affordable healthcare by bringing multiple AYUSH systems — including Ayurveda, Yoga, homoeopathy and Unani — under one roof.Officials said that doctors and supporting staff for the new OPD services will be deployed by the Directorate of AYUSH, which will also bear the operational costs. CBPACS, an autonomous institute under Delhi govt’s Health and Family Welfare Department, will provide space and institutional support for the clinics.Delhi health minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh said the govt remained committed to expanding access to affordable and holistic healthcare. “The introduction of homoeopathy and Unani OPD services at CBPACS will further strengthen integrated AYUSH-based treatment and stress management facilities in the national capital,” he said.
