Two youths found burnt to death near Krishnagiri, probe on

Krishnagiri: Two youths were found burnt to death in separate incidents near Krishnagiri on Monday.Two male bodies were found burnt on the roadside in Veppalampattiy and Kodukur on the road leading to Rayakottai near Krishnagiri.Locals who spotted the charred bodies alerted Krishnagiri taluk police, who recovered the bodies and sent them to the Krishnagiri Government Medical College and Hospital for a postmortem. Krishnagiri district superintendent of police (SP) P Thangadurai conducted an in-person investigation. Police are actively investigating to establish the identities of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding their deaths. A sniffer dog has also been used for the investigation even as a hunt is underway for the perpetrators."A special team of eight inspectors has been formed to investigate the case," the SP said. A case has been registered.
