Officials have been asked to do deed registrations with transparency: TN minister
Namakkal: Officials have been instructed to carry out deed registrations with transparency and without irregularities, Tamil Nadu commercial tax and registration minister D Logesh Tamilselvan said on Thursday.Tamilselvan told reporters in Rasipuram that he had directed that no one in registrar offices should accept bribes. “Those who commit the wrongdoing will face strict action,” he said.The minister said chief minister C Joseph Vijay had assured that the TVK govt would be a govt for the people. “We will run a clean and untainted govt,” he said.He said, “We will urge the central govt to reduce the GST. We will accept the reasonable demands of the traders and present them at the GST council meeting and make a request to the central govt.”Tamilselvan, who represents Rasipuram constituency in the assembly, said, “Many unsolvable problems of constituency will be resolved. Necessary facilities will be provided, and Rasipuram will be developed as a prosperous constituency.”
