They were arrested by Sameja Kothi police.Sameja Kothi station house officer (SHO) Krishan Kumar said the smugglers were heading towards Bharatmala Road when we received information about them."Upon receiving this update, we blocked their path approximately 10km ahead, at the 75 NP turn, by positioning tractor-trailers across the road. A white car was spotted approaching from the direction of Anupgarh. When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the smugglers accelerated and sped away," the SHO said.He added that on spotting the tractor-trailer ahead, the smugglers attempted to apply brakes and, in the process, their car collided with the trailer.
