CM Yadav attends Suvendu’s swearing-in, hails ‘new era’ in WB
Bhopal: While attending the swearing-in ceremony of the newly-formed government in West Bengal on Saturday, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav said that a new era of good governance, security and development has commenced from today (Saturday). He said that West Bengal would now truly emerge as ‘Amar Sonar Bangla’.
Addressing the occasion, CM Yadav said West Bengal would now truly emerge as “Amar Sonar Bangla” under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of newly sworn-in Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari.
Yadav said that with the new government at the helm, West Bengal would regain its historic glory and prestige while setting new benchmarks in holistic development, investment, good governance and public welfare.
The swearing-in ceremony of the new West Bengal government was held at Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh, several Union ministers, chief ministers of NDA-ruled states and other dignitaries.
West Bengal governor RN Ravi administered the oath of office and secrecy to Suvendu Adhikari as chief minister along with five ministers in the new cabinet.
Yadav extended his congratulations and best wishes to Adhikari on assuming the responsibility of leading the state. He also congratulated party workers and the people of West Bengal for what he described as a historic political achievement.
