Bhopal: After heating in the day, strong winds gave respite in the late evening hours in the city on Thursday. The temperature took a rising trend in the city and state. A gradual rise in the temperature was expected to continue for the next few days in the state.
Day temperature in Bhopal on Thursday was recorded at 39.3 degrees celsius, two degrees less than the normal mark, while the night temperature in the city was 23.2 degrees celsius, three degrees less than the normal mark.
The day temperature in Narsinghpur was 42.4 degrees celsius.
In the past 24 hours till 8.30 am on Thursday hailstorms were observed in Hailstorm- Rewa, Shahdol, Anuppur, Mandla, Dindori, Umaria, Balaghat and Seoni.
In the forecast for Bhopal on Friday the meteorological dept stated there would be partly cloudy sky. Day and night temperature would be respectively 40 degrees celsius and 22 degrees celsius, while average wind speed will be twelve kilometers per hour.
In the forecast for the state the meteorological dept issued warning of thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds for places including Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Panna, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari and Maihar dists. A dry weather would prevail in remaining dists of the state.
In the weather outlook the meteorological dept stated a gradual rise in maximum temperature by 3 degrees to 5 degrees celsius in the coming 4 days.
