Yogi Adityanath, MP CM focus on Yadav-majority areas in Sambhal

Bareilly: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and his Madhya Pradesh counterpart Mohan Yadav held public rallies at the ‘Ma Kailadevi Dham’ temple area in Sambhal on Friday to consolidate backing in crucial Yadav-dominated areas. Before addressing the crowds, both CMs sought blessings at the ancient temple, paying homage to the deity deeply revered by the Yadavs.

Yadav expressed his joy in reconnecting with his homeland and people. “My ancestors hailed from Azamgarh, and rising from there to the position of the education minister and then CM is a testament to BJP’s blessings.”

Asserting the “inclusive ethos” of BJP, Yadav said, “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is not mere rhetoric but a commitment honoured by Modi and Yogi.” He highlighted the transformative governance ushered in by BJP, stressing the restoration of law and order in UP under Adityanath’s tenure.

Adityanath underscored Sambhal’s significance in the broader narrative of UP’s development. “The impending incarnation of Lord Kalki in Sambhal signifies its profound importance,” he said. With two phases of elections concluded, Yogi Adityanath exuded confidence in BJP’s success, attributing it to the transformative leadership of the PM.

The rally’s momentum extended to Babrala town in the Gunnaur assembly constituency, a Samajwadi Party stronghold due to its substantial Yadav populace. Sambhal goes to the polls in the third of the seven-phase polls on Tuesday.
