Ahmedabad: Class 10 supplementary form deadline now till May 18

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has extended the deadline for submission of supplementary examination forms for Class 10 students by three days. The original last date was May 15, but after representations from students and parents, the board has now permitted submissions until May 18. The move is expected to benefit thousands of students who could not complete the process within the earlier deadline.

For Class 12 students from both General and Science streams, the form submission process is also underway. The previous deadline of May 14 had been extended by two days, making Saturday the final date to apply. Students intending to appear for the supplementary examinations must complete their registration before the revised cut-off.

The board has also introduced a significant reform this year by allowing a “Best of Two” option. This means that not only students who have failed but also those seeking to improve their marks can take the supplementary exams.

According to the official schedule issued by GSHSEB, the supplementary examinations will be held from June 11 to June 20.
