Agra: A 50-year-old man has been arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri district for allegedly repeatedly raping his 14-year-old mentally challenged relative after luring her with Rs 10-20, leaving her four months pregnant.According to the police complaint filed by the survivor’s father, the first assault took place on Feb 9, 2026, when the accused lured the teenager to a secluded spot near their house. The victim’s mother had witnessed the accused handing the girl a Rs 10 note at the time but was unaware of the assault, only scolding the man and driving him away. The father alleged that the accused assaulted the minor again at the same location on May 28, 2026, and threatened to kill her if she spoke out.The systemic abuse came to light on June 1, 2026, when the girl’s health deteriorated. Her family took her to a hospital, where a medical examination confirmed she was four to five months pregnant. Following the medical results, the teenager narrated the ordeal to her parents. The victim’s uncle further alleged that the accused had been sexually exploiting the minor for several months, routinely using sums of Rs 10 to Rs 20 to lure her.
