Man killed after car hits him in Muzaffarnagar

Agra: A 38-year-old man was killed after an out-of-control car hit him outside a gas agency warehouse in Shahpur area of Muzaffarnagar district on Tuesday morning. Police said the vehicle had been seized, while the woman driving it fled.Ayub Ahmed, a daily wager and resident of Paldi village, had arrived at the warehouse to collect a cooking gas cylinder when the accident took place. His body was sent for postmortem examination.Investigators are examining CCTV footage from the area to trace the driver. DSP Gajender Singh said, “A case would be registered after a formal complaint is received from the victim’s family.”
