'Cease Such Attacks': India Condemns Kuwait Airport Attack That Killed Indian Citizen

India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has condemned the attack on Kuwait International Airport that killed an Indian national and left several others injured. In a statement, the MEA reiterated India’s position that civilian populations and civilian infrastructure should not be targeted and called on all parties involved in the conflict to cease such attacks. The ministry expressed condolences to the bereaved family and said the Indian Embassy was providing assistance to the injured. It also stated that Indian missions across the region remain on alert and are closely coordinating with local authorities. According to Kuwaiti authorities, air traffic operations were temporarily suspended after Iranian strikes hit Terminal One, causing casualties and damage to airport infrastructure. The airport was later partially reopened.
