‘Petrol, Diesel Crisis Developing Worldwide’: PM Modi Urges Unity Amid West Asia Conflict

In his Mann Ki Baat address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the ongoing West Asia conflict as a “challenging time” and called for unity and vigilance among citizens. He urged people not to believe rumours and stressed that India’s 140 crore population would collectively face any challenges arising from the situation. Highlighting the global impact of the conflict, Modi noted that the region is crucial for India’s energy needs and that disruptions have led to a developing fuel strain worldwide. He also thanked Gulf countries for supporting over one crore Indians living and working there. Emphasising preparedness, Modi said India is well-equipped to handle the situation through strong international partnerships and its growing capabilities.
