US President Donald Trump has issued a fresh warning to Iran, accusing Tehran of “playing games” after its response to the latest American ceasefire proposal. In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump claimed Iran has been “playing games with the United States and the rest of the world for 47 years,” adding that “they will be laughing no longer.” The remarks mark his first major response following Iran’s reaction to the proposed truce framework, as tensions continue to escalate across the Gulf region. Trump also reiterated hardline rhetoric on Iran’s nuclear program, stating that the United States is closely monitoring highly enriched uranium sites and would respond forcefully to any attempt to access them. He further criticized former President Barack Obama, blaming him for strengthening Iran through the 2015 nuclear deal. The latest exchange signals rising pressure and growing uncertainty in US-Iran relations.
