NREGA records 79.10 crore person-days of employment, highest since 2012

Four states severely affected by drought - Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu have pushed the employment generated figure under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) to a record number in the first quarter this year.
