U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that the American military struck and sank 46 Iranian warships amid the ongoing war. While addressing the Republican Members Issues Conference in Florida, Trump recalled a conversation with a U.S. military official and said he had asked why the ships were sunk and not captured. "I said, 'Why didn't we just capture the ships?' We could use it. Why did we sink them?' He said, 'It's more fun to sink them'," the US President told Republican lawmakers, evoking laughter.
