The Russian Defence Ministry has provided a physical proof of an attempted Ukrainian drone strike on President Vladimir Putin’s residence in Novgorod on December 29. The Russian MoD published a video footage showing Admiral Igor Kostyukov, chief of Russia’s military intelligence, handing a decrypted drone navigation controller to a U.S. military attaché. Moscow said the evidence suggested that drone’s final target as a specific facility inside Putin’s presidential compound. The move follows reports that the CIA rejected Russia’s allegations.
