Tensions surged along the Israel–Lebanon front as fierce clashes erupted in eastern Lebanon. Hezbollah says it confronted Israeli forces attempting a helicopter landing near the town of Nabi Sheet for the second time on March 9. The group claims around fifteen Israeli helicopters approached from the direction of Syria, flying over villages including Janta, Yahfoufa, Arsal, and Ras Baalbek before deploying troops near the Lebanon–Syria border. Hezbollah fighters say they engaged the aircraft and ground forces, with reports suggesting one helicopter may have been hit. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes and drones intensified flights over the region as Hezbollah launched rockets toward northern Israeli settlements. Watch
