Iran is asserting a strong negotiating position in the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel, signaling that any path to de-escalation will be dictated on its terms. Despite decades of sanctions, Tehran has demonstrated significant military capability — targeting key US bases in the Middle East and launching deep strikes into Israel, reportedly challenging the effectiveness of the Iron Dome. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has made it clear that Tehran will only consider ending its attacks if its core conditions are met. These include safeguarding Iran’s national dignity, security, and strategic interests.
