UP: At least 29 killed as passenger bus falls into gorge on Yamuna expressway

In a tragic incident, at least 29 people lost their lives after a passenger bus they were travelling in fell into a gorge on Yamuna expressway. 16 other passengers were also injured in the accident. According to sources, the bus driver fell asleep while driving as a result of which the UPSRTC bus hit the divider and then fell into 40-feet shallow gap on Yamuna expressway. The mishap happened at around 4:15 am on the expressway near Milestone 161 (Jharna nullah) of Etmadpur police jurisdiction of Agra district. Rescue and relief operation is still going on.
