Gold smuggling case: ED sets eyes on Kerala minister KT Jaleel, quizzed him for 2 hours

The ED has its eyes on Kerala minister KT Jaleel in connection with the gold smuggling case as it interrogated him for 2 hours on Friday. The ED also attached properties worth almost Rs 2 crore in Kozhikode under the PMLA in the case. The case pertains to gold smuggling in Kerala via diplomatic channels and had come to light after 30kg of gold worth almost Rs 15 crore was busted by Customs in Thiruvananthapuram on July 5.
