Massive fire engulfs open scrap yard in Gurgaon
GURGAON: A massive fire broke out in an open scrap yard in Kankrola village on Monday morning, fire officials said. A team from IMT Manesar fire services rushed to the spot after receiving a call about the incident and is engaged in controlling the blaze. Fire officer Lalit Kumar said two fire engines from Sector 37 and Sector 29 stations, along with units from Honda and Maruti showrooms in Manesar, have been deployed. “The fire station in Manesar received a call at 6.50 am about a fire in the scrap yard. Firefighting teams are on the job, and the blaze is expected to be brought under control soon,” Kumar added.(With agency inputs)
