Delhi: Section 144 imposed in DU campus after NSUI, other students groups try to screen BBC documentary on Gujarat riots

Section 144 has been imposed in Delhi University campus after NSUI along with some other Leftist students groups tried to screen the BBC documentary on Gujarat riots. The documentary has been banned in India by the government on the grounds of it being misleading. Earlier, some Leftist students groups in JNU in the Capital had also tried to screen the documentary and this led to clashes between different student groups. DU Proctor Rajni Abi said police were informed as no permission was sought from University authorities for screening the documentary.
