Star Singer: Swarna and Gayathri Get Evicted

Yet another surprising eviction in Star Singer. In the recent episode, contestants Swarna and Gayathri got evicted from the show. The contestants left the show after receiving 311 marks each in the last 9 performances.

In the eviction episode, the team has finally revealed the scorecard. In the first place is Arjun with 325.2 marks. While Dilraj grabbed the second spot, Krishnasree is seen in third place. Soon after the announcement of the eviction, singer and judge KS Chithra shared that it was one of the toughest moments for her. The singer also mentioned that all the contestants in the show are exceptional singers and they had to consider even minute mistakes to reach this decision. Notably, both Swarna and Gayathri took the decision sportively, as they were seen thanking the team for the great experience.




"This has been one of the greatest experiences ever. I never worried about marks, so I could enjoy each of my performances. I will miss everyone. But I know it's just the beginning," Swarna said.




On the other hand, Gayathri shared that being a part of Star Singer is nothing short of a dream come true moment for her.




"My love towards Star Singer started in 2007. I hadn't missed even a single episode. I even tried to audition for Star Singer Junior, but I was too young for it then. To be on this stage was my manifestation, and it has happened. This is a dream come true," she said.




With the eviction of Swarna and Gayathri, Star Singer is left with 8 contestants competing for the grand prize of Rs 50 lakhs. Who will grab the trophy? Viewers have to wait and watch.
