The Great Indian Kapil Show 5: Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia to be seen together as guests exactly one year after their controversy?

After hosting global stars like Priyanka Chopra Jonas and AP Dhillon, along with popular Bollywood actors such as Ananya Panday, Kartik Aaryan, Rani Mukerji, and Aditi Rao Hydari, as well as stalwarts from Indian cricket, the show is all set to host Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. However, they will be seen in season 5 of The Great Indian Kapil Show.

This will be Ranveer and Samay’s first appearance together after their much-talked-about controversy. Several videos and clips from the show are doing the rounds on social media, showing the two sharing the stage with host Kapil Sharma.




Kapil hilariously teases them, joking that not just fans but even the police from different cities were looking for Ranveer and Samay. He says, "Internet par toh log inko search kar rahe the, kayi alag alag rajyon ki police bhi inko dhoondh rahi thi." The remark leaves everyone in splits.

During the episode, Ranveer tried to joke and made a remark that did not go down well with viewers, many of whom found it inappropriate and offensive. The video went viral on social media and many users criticised the language used on the show, calling it vulgar and disrespectful. The matter escalated when complaints were reportedly filed against Samay and Ranveer due the the content. Many political figures and public personalities also expressed their objection to the viral clip. There were reports that authorities in different cities were looking into the matter after receiving formal complaints. Both Samay and Ranveer faced heavy trolling after the clip from the show went viral. While Samay had to shut down his show, Ranveer went on a long break.

AP Dhillon and Anubhav Bassi graced the recent episode of TGIKS season 4. The episode was filled with many hilarious moments. Sunil Grover stole the show with his parody song 'Meriyan Zulfaan' which went viral on social media. AP Dhillon also took the entire segment sportingly and enjoyed Sunil's performance. He was seen laughing out loud and tapping his feet as Sunil performed the song.
