Anupamaa: Anupamaa stands strong for Prarthana’s rights; confronts Vasundhara

Anupamaa continues to remain one of television’s most loved shows, with its engaging drama and powerful performances by Rupali Ganguly and the cast. The current storyline revolves around the wedding of Ansh and Prarthana, with tensions rising in the Shah household.

In the latest episode, Anupamaa took a firm stand for women’s rights, insisting that girls must have the freedom to choose their life partners. She questioned why families openly discuss trivial matters like food but fail to consult girls before marriage.

Prarthana, moved by Anupamaa’s words, recalled how Vasundhara had once abruptly announced her marriage, shattering her dreams of pursuing an MBA and a career. Vasundhara, however, turned the tables and accused Anupamaa and Ansh of being the reason behind Prarthana’s divorce. Anupamaa countered by blaming Gautam, pointing out that his attempts at wooing Prarthana had only revealed his true character.

The tension escalated further when Khyati mocked Anupamaa’s past, her broken marriage with Vanraj and her relationship with Anuj, while Vasundhara ridiculed her progressive ideals. Unshaken, Anupamaa brushed aside the taunts and declared that if Parag’s second marriage was valid, then so was Prarthana’s. When Gautam objected, she silenced him with the bold statement that Prarthana would never be happy with him.

Delivering a fiery speech on women’s independence, Anupamaa defended her own journey, saying she was proud of persisting despite her struggles. While Pakhi accused her mother of creating chaos, Leela worried about her interference. Still, Anupamaa reassured Prarthana that the Kotharis would not be present at her wedding.

Later, a more vulnerable side of Anupamaa emerged as she visited Anuj Ki Rasoi and reminisced about her past with Anuj, hinting that unspoken feelings still linger beneath her resilient exterior.

In the episodes ahead, drama will intensify as Gautam cleverly questions Vasundhara about whether Prarthana’s child could ever be accepted as a Shah. Meanwhile, the Shah family joyfully celebrates Ansh and Prarthana’s marriage. However, just as happiness sets in, Anupamaa is left shocked when Vasundhara and Khyati arrive with Prarthana’s legal documents, threatening to disrupt the festivities once again.
