Anupamaa actor Shivam Khajuria on his biggest 2025 lesson; opens up about New Year plans: says “Growth comes from consistency'
For Shivam Khajuria, the year 2025 passed quickly, but it left behind a lot to think about. The television actor is currently seen as Prem in Anupamaa, a show that continues to draw steady viewership. Over the course of the year, his character slowly found acceptance with the audience, something Shivam himself considers important.Towards the end of the year, the actor says he has been looking back at how the last few months went for him. When asked about 2025, he doesn’t point to one big moment. Instead, he describes the year with a single word, consistency. According to him, the year was more about staying at work and staying focused, rather than chasing outcomes.

“2025 taught me the importance of showing up every single day and trusting the process. I’ve realised for an actor growth comes from constant learning and staying open to change. The learning never really stops, and that’s what keeps the journey exciting.”Being part of a daily soap like Anupamaa also meant long hours and routine work. Shivam admits that playing Prem made him more aware of discipline on set and emotional control in scenes.
He feels the experience helped him slow down and understand what commitment actually looks like in television. As for New Year 2026, Shivam is not planning anything elaborate. He says he would rather keep it low-key and spend time between work commitments and his family. For now, that balance feels enough.“I’m planning a balance of quiet time with my family and work. These are the two pillars of my life right now, and starting the year with both feels just right,” he says.Going into 2026, Shivam says he wants to continue working and learning, without putting too much pressure on himself. For him, that seems like the right way forward.
